Sonya Golden dba Ngozi Place, is a Home & Community Service program for clients
with a primary diagnoses of (IDD) or intellectual development / disabilities.
Our director chose the Nigerian namesake of ‘Ngozi’ as it means “blessing”. She feels “it reflects our stance on our work ethic, and company.”
We provide a wide range of services such as contracting RN/LVN services, professional therapists, and scheduling of health care visits. We also provide a day center program, as well as RSS homes for our clients.
Sonya has over 20+ years of experience from her many roles in social services. It is these experiences that has given her the knowledge, confidence, and her genuine heart that inspires her to provide next level care through her company.
Director Sonya Golden is hands on in all facets of her business, and brings super levels of energy to match her superb drive for providing excellent care. At Ngozi Place our goal is to employ and serve capable people. This means that we focus on our abilities and strengths, and not on our limitations.
We know our actions affects not only ourselves, but also our clients, families, and communities. Our constant goal is to create value & purpose in our lives, simultaneously enriching the lives of those we serve. We are aware this work is not glamorous, however we shift attention to what we can learn from the experiences gained during this purposeful work!
